Get to know me 〰️
I’ve been shooting professionally as The Garden Photo Co. since the fall of 2021. That summer, I had just moved out West from the Southeast and was craving something that was entirely my own—something I could build, invest in, and learn from along the way.
I’d always been artistic growing up and through university, but over time I had drifted away from that part of myself. Life felt stressful with the fresh move and a full-time job in residential treatment for teen girls, and I realized I needed a creative outlet.
So, I started this company with my little DSLR Canon camera and the simple attitude of, “Let’s see what happens.” No expectations. No pressure.
I could never have imagined that this small leap would open up an entirely new world of passion and opportunity. Through The Garden Photo Co., I’ve been fortunate to work with clients from all over, step into marketing and photography roles within the climbing industry, and witness beautiful connections and love on a regular basis.
How long have you been shooting professionally?
I was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. I am very much a waterbaby having spent almost all my free time in the water surfing, swimming or soaking up the sun (Sheryl Crow fan duhhhh). The water has always seemed alive to me, teaming with energy. I moved out West after school desiring to be closer to rock climbing and mountains. I had been climbing for about 4 years at the time and was completely hooked. From there, I lived out west for about 3 years getting to run around and climb in the desert. All of this lived experience is my inspiration! Wanting to capture the beauty in Creation working with my subjects. Defineitly my favorite ‘office’ yet.
Where are you from? What inspires you?
When I am not taking photos or editing them, I am usually outside! Rock climbing or hiking or on a trip to a new place! I love staying active as motion is medicine for my mental health, balance and a source of creative energy. I also love to fly fish, snowboard in the winter and play any team sport (trying to get on that Pickleball grind right now).
When I’m closer to home and the beach, I’ll be back in the water surfing or swimming. I have an Australian Shepherd named Wiley that I love with all my heart. I work as the Marketing Coordinator for the International Climbers’ Festival for part of the year that is held in Wyoming, so my summers usually take me out West.
How do you spend your free time?
My style is a blend of documentary and fine art photography, emphasizing natural light and true-to-life colors. I aim to create timeless images that evoke emotion and tell the story of your day in a candid, yet beautifully composed manner. Each photograph is crafted to reflect the genuine joy and connection shared between you and your loved ones.

About the Experience
〰️
About the Experience 〰️
At The Garden Photo Co., I focus on capturing the raw, authentic moments that truly reflect your unique love story. My approach is rooted in human connection, aiming to document the genuine emotions and interactions that make your day special. I strive to be more than just a photographer; I become a part of your celebration, ensuring that every moment is preserved with authenticity and care.
I’m also a major team player: I want to help out however I can to make sure your session or wedding go on without a hiccup. I’ll help plan your timeline, think through backup options, and even tuck that tricky dress tag when needed. My goal is to protect your peace on your wedding day, so it truly feels like your day. While my top priority is capturing the most real and intimate photos of your celebration, I won’t hesitate to be your hype girl—running for your heels, helping carry your train, and cheering wholeheartedly during your send-off.
What makes your approach to wedding photography different?
I offer flexible coverage options to suit your needs, whether it's capturing the intimate moments of an elopement or the full-day celebration of a grand wedding. From the quiet moments of getting ready to the lively celebration of your reception, I am there to document every significant moment, ensuring your story is told from start to finish.
For sessions, we can plan a session according to your needs or you wanting to incorporate multiple locations or outfits.
Do you photograph the entire day or only specific parts?
Absolutely! I understand the importance of a well-organized day, and I'm here to assist with crafting a timeline that ensures everything flows smoothly.
Will you help with timeline planning or day-of logistics?
How do you help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera?
I believe in creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where you can be yourselves. By building a genuine connection with you and providing gentle guidance, I help you feel at ease, allowing your true personalities and emotions to shine through in your photos. My goal is to make the experience fun and stress-free, so you can focus on enjoying your special day.
I recommend booking as early as possible—ideally 8-12 months in advance for weddings—to ensure your date is available. Popular dates fill quickly, and early planning helps us create the best experience for your day.
You can always reach out first to see, and I will ‘soft hold’ it for you and let you know when someone else is inquiring for the same day (if more than 2 months out from wedding date). Within, 3 months I start my planning and travel arrangements.
How far in advance should we book you?
